Did you ever have one of them days?
I did, today, I was super emotional and had a couple of crying~for~no~reason moment’s.
I wanted to snap out of it but nothing was working. I tried a Netflix binge, a hot chocolate and even some knitting but I felt all out of whack.
I knew there was only one thing for it, a kitchen disco!
I put my favourite rocking~around~the~kitchen play list on and danced.
I should mention that I was born without an ounce of rhythm and coordination, and cannot carry a note in a bucket, but I did my absolute best and put on my own little show.
I did have an audience, my cat, who watched me with a definite air of not being impressed.
Did I feel silly? Yes!
Did my son walk in and ask wwhat the heck I was doing? Yes!
But did I feel better for it? Absolutely!
Letting my uncoordinated, un~tuneful self loose, getting my blood pumping, and a rush of endorphins was exactly what I needed.
It didn’t fix any of my problems but it snapped me out of a funk, got my vibration up, and improved my day 100%.
If you ever find yourself having one of them days I wholeheartedly recommend a kitchen disco, even if you have two left feet, because as I told my cat if you can move, you can dance.
